Hello there! My name is Vicki. I'm a 21-year-old homeschool grad turned distance-college student. I'm currently residing with my family, my parents and two younger sisters, in beautiful Washington state as I work towards completing my bachelor's degree in political science. I have a boyfriend, Josh, who's my favorite person, the geekiest guy I know, and also my constant source of support. Besides being a full-time student, I am also a Christian, an introvert, an artist and designer, a fashion fiend, a Pinterest addict, a history nut, a bit of a geek, and, of course, a blogger. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, photography, sketching, and the occasional video/board game, as well as snuggling up to movie and TV marathons with my boyfriend.
I started this blog all the way back in 2010, after reading and being inspired by so many various blogs. It began as "Decked out in Ruffles," and my initial purpose in starting it was to have an outlet for sharing my DIY projects. Later, I was inspired by personal style blogs, particularly those regarding modest fashion, and began to use the blog to catalog my own style, and with the goal of inspiring others.
Now, my blog has begun a transition more towards lifestyle, and you can expect to see posts on personal style and fashion, creative endeavors, life and adventures, and random bits and pieces. I've changed the name of my blog to "Vicki Grace," my name, to better reflect myself and offer flexibility as this little area of the web continues to change and grow.
I seek through this blog, as in all things, to be able to glorify God.
I hope you'll enjoy sharing in my adventures.
