Remember when I posted a couple of weeks ago about the event hosted by Fresh Modesty, Bramblewood Fashion, and Natasha of What I Wear, What I do, and Why I do it? Well, I had wanted so badly to participate on time, but I ended up having a logic test that weekend that I had to cram for, and then due to some unfortunate events on Sunday (read: the sprinkler turned on right as my sister and I headed out to take pictures, and my skirt was soaked!), we were unable to take the pictures in time for me to link up. But I decided to do it anyway. I had so much fun coming up with the outfits, that I thought I might as well share them with ya'll.(:

I made this skirt a couple weeks ago out of one of my Dad's old t-shirts, and I was so excited to have a brown pencil skirt! I made it late at night, though, and in a bit of a hurry, so there are a few things I need to fix, but other than that, I am pretty satisfied with it.(: I wanted to challenge myself to style it a bit more fancy for Sunday, so I added the lace top and flowery belt, then I dressed it down the other two days for casual, around-the-house kind outfits. I'm happy to see that it's so versatile!

Anyway, I hope you all are having a lovely week!

  4. Vicki, all the outfits are cute, but my fav is probably the second one. But that's probably because I like the country look. :) Keep coming up with great ideas! :)

  7. I love your shoes in the last picture! You're quite welcome for telling you about me not being able to see them, dear! I would want someone to do the same thing for me. (: I'm glad you enjoyed Melissa's blog! I got to see her Sunday. She's a dear. That is so wonderful that you and your family have prayer time each night too. I think it's a great habit that I wish all families would do. You and yours are a great example to us all!
